Barrett Weimaraners is pleased to announce that we are expecting our final litter of 2016 to arrive in late August. !!!!!!! Proud parents are BIM GCH Knight n’ Barrett’s Pioneer Mountain Man, “Boulder,” and CH Silhouette’s Joy Ride, “Seren.”
BIM GCHB Knight n’ Barrett’s Pioneer Mountain Man, “Boulder”
Sire: BIM GCH Knight n’ Barrett’s Pioneer Mountain Man (SR78072901: OFA Hips: Good, OFA Elbows: Normal, HUU: Negative, HYM: Negative)
Dam: CH Silhouette’s Joy Ride (SR81412002: OFA Hips: Good, HUU: Negative, HYM: Negative)
More about this breeding. Both Boulder and Seren are show champions, and come from a long line of (even more) show champions. Boulder’s pedigree also includes dogs with natural hunting ability. We’re expecting that a few of their puppies will be slated for appearance in both the show ring and local hunt tests and ratings (AKC, WCA and NAVHDA). For those interested, click here to view a three-generation pedigree. (The COI over 10 generations is 8.9%).
The puppy placement process. Puppies from this litter will be raised and evaluated until they are at least eight weeks of age. It’s very possible that some of the puppies will not be ready for placement until closer to 12 weeks of age. Those who are selected as show-prospect puppies will be placed into show-prospect homes. Other puppies will be placed into homes that are best suited for them individually.
CH Silhouette’s Joy Ride, “Seren”
