In summary, this was a very low-key week. Some rain, lots of couch time, one on one time, and a few goodbyes.
Wednesday, December 10:
We moved the puppy area back to the kitchen by the side door. Puppies are also getting daily “crate time.”
Zanie and her biological mother.
Thursday, December 11: Mostly a lounge-around-the-house kind of day…
Gracie, Zanie, and Friday.
I went to Peet’s Coffee to pick up a latte and left Zanie in the car. This is what I found when I returned to the car.
Typical evening television routine.
Friday, December 12:
All of the dogs got some leftover turkey pot pie (minus the pot and minus the pie) for breakfast. They loved it!
Friday evening, Barry and I went to a local Italian restaurant for dinner. Since the patio was dog friendly, we took Zanie with us. She did great!
Next to my chair at dinner time.
After she was done exploring, she happily napped while I ate my dinner.
We also got some snuggle time in.
Last night with Zanie… in front of the Christmas tree!
Saturday, December 13: Early morning today. I left the house at 6:00 AM so I could meet Louise (Zanie’s mom) at 7:00 AM for “the big drop off.”
She has the whole seat, and she chooses to wedge herself into the corner…
Meeting her biological father, Torque, for the first time.
…and meeting half-sister Squeak for the first time.
Already on the right track with Mamma Louise!
ย
Sunday, December 14:
TeddyBear and I at Uncle Jerry’s house!
Then we went to Uncle Garret’s house to visit with Blue and Ellie. Ellie is crashing with Uncle Garret for awhile. ๐
Later that night, I received a message from Garret saying that Blue and Ellie were fast asleep. Together.
Monday, December 15:
Morning shot with Ted.
Seems like Friday didn’t get the memo… so the big dog went in the little crate and the little dog went in the big crate.
