Hello, friends! Barrett Weimaraners is a California and Canada (Toronto) based breeder of AKC (American Kennel Club), CKC (Canadian Kennel Club), and North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) registered Weimaraners. On occasion, puppies are also available in Arizona, Oregon, and Utah through families who breed and own Barrett-bred Weimaraners.

At the moment, two three four five a gaggle Weimaraners live under our roofs, and we couldn’t imagine our lives without them. We do things together: hit up hiking trails, play at the beach, run in the desert, hang out at the office, go fishing, drink in bars, chow in restaurants, make cookies, snooze in hotels, lounge around the house… You know, all the normal stuff crazy dog people do with their dogs.

Many of our puppies go to families in California and Canada but some of them are also placed in Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Washington State, and Utah. Companion/family puppies are available in every litter (with no expectation of co-ownership, show, or other commitments).

If you might consider an older dog, we have a few adults available to the right home. All dogs are housebroken, crate trained and up to date on core vaccinations:

  • Obi – 6 year old male (Southern CA)
  • Junie – 3 year old female (Northern CA)
  • Kaido – 9 month old male (Southern CA)

Northern CA Litters

Puppies out of Beatrix arrived in Northern CA on March 23rd!!! The interest list for female puppies is closed; we are still accepting inquiries for one male puppy home.

No Southern CA litters are planned at this time. We do, however, have several older puppies and adults currently available to a companion home.

Summer and Fall 2026 plans are underway for the Barrett girls. Puppies will be raised in California and Toronto, Canada. The interest lists for performance and companion/family dogs are open. Additional information to follow when we have some more details.
