Teddy Ruffxpin Get a Second Chance

Teddy Ruffxpin Get a Second Chance

TeddyEvery now and then, a story comes along that just breaks your heart.

Meet Teddy.

www.barrettweimaraners.com - Teddy Ruffxpin - Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue

This is a re-post of his story:

In the midst of many special-case animals becoming homeless and entering rescue, another Weimaraner has just been accepted into Tickled Pink Weimaraner Rescue. This male was found by a member of the public who brought him to their local shelter- Baldwin Park Shelter. The shelter was incredibly supportive and amicable, welcoming us with open arms.

After our volunteers picked the dog up he was taken to one of our trusted veterinary hospitals. We don’t know much about this dog, other than he is one of the most neglected animals we could ever imagine seeing. He is severely emaciated, has open sores and granulomas on every joint on his body, enlarged lymph nodes, deep ear infections, various other lacerations, urine burns on his skin, and multiple pedunculated (hanging) tumors from his chest.

Teddy spent a few days in an intensive care unit and is now in the comfort of a foster home. He has come so far but has a long road ahead.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. What our volunteers do is only made possible through your support. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible.

If you are able to help us, you can do so by donating here: www.weimaranerrescue.org/donate.

You can also contribute directly towards a goal we have set for him, here: https://www.youcaring.com/neglectedteddy.

For now we are giving him our all and giving him the name “Teddy Ruffxpin” after the cherished children’s doll. Please SHARE THIS POST to help us find more support.

Thank you and please keep Teddy and all of our other animals in your thoughts.

…

Last week, I posted a message about Teddy to my Facebook page and asked for help:

By the following morning, 43 likes had trickled in. Just today, I finally got around to making a donation to Teddy.

If you can also help, please visit Teddy’s YouCaring page.

I’m sure he’d appreciate it!

Many thanks,
