With four generations of breeding now under our belts, our network of Weimaraner friends and family have organically expanded from Southern California into Arizona. Below are some Barrett dogs who now reside in the Grand Canyon State. Preference for pet/companion homes will be given to local families so puppies can be visited with as they grow up:
Winter 2021 Litter. Kirby x Mattie. Mattie is on the smaller end of the breed standard, but she’s big in personality, and comes from a long line of pretty (show) dogs. Mattie will be bred in the fall to Kirby, a proven hunting and field trial dog with the expectation that some of her puppies will be competitive in both the show ring and field trial circuit. Puppies not selected for show/field trial homes will be available to pet/companion homes. Timing for puppies to go to their new families: January 2021 in Glendale, Arizona.
Late Spring 2021 Litter. Tearin (2018 Blaise Pascal x Bailey) is currently a Dual Champion-prospect Weimaraner. In normal vernacular, Tearin was bred to be both a pretty AND talented working dog. As a youngster, Tearin’s independence, confidence, and stamina led her to easy Puppy and Derby stake field trial wins. That same confidence, combined with a moderate, balanced structure, has given her a good start on the show ring side of the competition area. Next up is motherhood and raising a litter of more Dual Champion-prospect puppies. Puppies not selected for show/field trial homes will be available to pet/companion homes. Timing for puppies to go to their new families: June 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona.
