BioThane dog collars have been worn by Barrett Weimaraners since 2013. In 2014, we starting using the puppy-sized BioThane collars on our homebred litters, and in 2015, we started outfitting our rescue dogs with them.
Unlike fabric or nylon collars, BioThane dog collars don’t easily fray or fade, and stand up to the test of time. (Our fabric and nylon collars were usually destroyed after a few round through the washing machine.) Leather was a beautiful alternative, but ruined with dry weather and dirty swimming holes.
In 2020, our dog collars became available to the public for general purchase. Collars are stocked in variable widths, colors, textures, and hardware. Adult and Juvenile sized collars also include a free brass ID tag.
BioThane is a highly durable, strong, and stink-proof material, perfect for hunting, hiking, or swimming, in any weather, any time of year.
