Barrett Dogs at the 2019 German Wirehaired Pointer Club of SoCal Field Trial

February 24, 2019

Barrett Dogs at the 2019 German Wirehaired Pointer Club of SoCal Field Trial

ROAD TRIP # 06 of 2019: Good afternoon from the Mojave Desert in Southern CA!!!

We are here for the German Wirehaired Pointer Club of SoCal’s field trial; it’s the last of the season here at Camp H.

In attendance: Mister BP, his daughter Tearin the T-Rex, FizzMonkey from the Michigander litter, and Mongo-loid (Barry’s dog who decided that hangin’ with Mom this weekend would be more fun than sinking in the snow at home). And Dapper Dan, the dopey dexterous daytime dollar-spender. 🤣

Speaking of daytime dollar-spender, Dapper Dan bought himself a horse trailer. He calls it “the Midnight Rambler.” I guess he’s a Rolling Stone. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dan is a character, that’s for sure.

It’s a beautiful day. The sun’s out, ain’t a cloud in the sky, and the kids are itching to enjoy it. Toodles!

…

UPDATE: Blaise Pascal (center) is a very proud dad this weekend. His son Soba (left) WON the Open Derby stake on Saturday in an entry of 18 dogs, and daughter Tearin (right) WON the Open Puppy stake this afternoon in an entry of 18 dogs.

This is a pretty big deal.

THANK YOU ALL for a most splendid weekend!!! ❤️❤️❤️
