The puppies are right in the middle of the Curiosity Period (5-7 weeks). Completely weaned from their mother, puppies are on their own! They climb, crawl, investigate, and taste everything. At the moment, they have very little fear and approach anything they can get their little paws on.
Now’s a good time to expose puppies to everything I can fit into a day because they have the lowest fear and highest approach acceptance. So this week, I exposed to about fifteen sets of visitors!
A visitor with new owners…
…more new owners…
…kids…
…more kids…
…and a visit with family.
Exposure to tunnels.
Exposure to garden goods.
Playtime in the grass.
Checking out the arugula.
ORANGE BOY and his chompers.
PURPLE GIRL on the patio. Puppies spent most of the week out here and they loved it.
I really wish I hadn’t aimed the camera wrong… this would have been a beautiful late afternoon capture.
This is my favorite photo of the week. YELLOW GIRL, looking a lot like her mamma.
