Hello! I’m Kim; my husband and I are breeders of Weimaraner puppies in Southern California.
First and foremost, I am a lover of Weimaraners. At the moment, two three four five of them live under my roof, and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. We do things together: hit up hiking trails, play at the beach, run in the desert, hang out at the office, go fishing, drink in bars, chow in restaurants, make cookies, snooze in hotels, lounge around the house… You know, all the normal stuff “crazy dog people” do with their dogs.
On occasion, I raise and send Weimaraner puppies to loving homes under the Barrett kennel name. Most of my puppies go to families in Southern California (primarily Los Angeles County and Orange County), but I’ve also sent Weimaraner puppies to Northern California, Central California, Phoenix Arizona, Las Vegas Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, Texas, Utah, and Canada. (If that’s you, please feel free to reach out; I take a lot of road trips and I’m always happy to deliver puppies along the way.)

Equally important, my purpose in life (really!!!) is to share my love of Weimaraners with others.
Every now and then, I help local breeders place their puppies. I also dabble with a Southern CA Weimaraner rescue by taking in strays to re-rehabilitate and then re-home them. If you’re looking for an adult Weimaraner in Southern California, please consider adopting one through CalWEAR.
